Anybody else do this? I save $6.97 doing this!

We go through alot of soy sauce, I don't know why I think we're salt addicted. Since we use so much I buy the larger jug at Costco and then I continue to refill the bottle with my little funnel. This jug refills the bottle 4 times, if I take the price I would have paid for 4  10oz bottles and subtract the amount I pay for the 1.2L jug, I end up saving $6.97. Every little bit counts!!!

  1. I do this too....I also get the industrial size Mrs. Butterworth syrup at walmart for 7 or 8 dollars and refill my med/big size bottle several times with this...I guesstimate it refills around 6 or 7 times ....that would cost us 24 to 35 bucks and we only spent a fifth of that..works for our family of 8....hope you try it

  2. You can make teriyaki sauce with this as well.

    1 cup soy sauce
    5 cups water
    4 tsp. minced garlic
    1 tsp. powdered ginger
    1 cup brown sugar
Bring to a boil and let it cool. Pour into jars and keep in the fridge for up to 3 months. You can add cornstarch as well if you are using this for a stir fry. It makes a great marinade.
