Have you been able to stay healthy so far during cold and flu season??? Knock on wood we've been pretty lucky so far, it's not easy to stay healthy when you have that coworker that refuses to stay home when they are sick (we applaud you for your work ethic) but nobody wants your germs!!!!! Or you have school age children that bring home every bug known to man. One way we try to stay healthy is by taking lots of Vitamin C and I have a yummy way to add it to your diet, this may not be suitable for everyone, consult your doctor.
Homemade Orange Julius with Vitamin C
6oz Frozen Orange Juice Concentrate
1 cup Milk
1 cup Water
1/2 cup Sugar
10-12 Ice Cubes
1 Teaspoon Vanilla (if desired)
Vitamin C Powder ( This can be purchased at some grocery stores or at health food stores)
Read the instuctions for dosing information, this recipe makes a total of 5-6 cups.
Blend well until smooth, it turns out creamy and frothy and soooo goooood, kids will absolutely love it!
